We're just getting started and we're looking for volunteers! If you are interested in donating your time and effort to help the animals, please submit a Volunteer request.

Foster Homes for Animals

We are in desparate need of individuals and families to provide foster homes for the animals we rescue. A foster home is a place to temporarily care for an animal until it can be placed (adopted) into a forever-home.

If you can foster a pet, please download a Foster Application by choosing one of these formats: Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, Rich Text Format . Simply edit the application using a compatible word processor program. Once you have filled out the application, send an e-mail to foster@madisonarf.org and include your completed application as an e-mail attachment.

Fund Raising and Public Awareness

We need volunteers to participate in our fund raising events and public awareness campaigns. There's a lot of effort involved in raising funds for the contruction of a rescue-friendly animal shelter in Madison.

Animal Shelter Planning

Do you have expertise in planning, constructing and maintaining an animal shelter? We need volunteers to get temporary shelter in place and our permanent shelter built.

Animal Shelter Volunteers

Once we have established some temporary shelter space, we'll need volunteers to clean cages and pens, walk the animals, and feed and care for them. Eventually we'll have a new permanent shelter, requiring the same volunteer efforts.

Youth Volunteers

We welcome young volunteers. We do ask that volunteers under the age of 16 be accompanied by a parent.
